Come and join our improvisation workshops, section playing, rhythm section workouts, loads of new pieces and an evening jam session.
Structured workshops led by experienced pro jazz musicians
and teachers. Players of all experience and age welcomeTuition to stretch all abilities
What instruments- Saxes, woodwind, brass, piano, guitar, double bass/ bass guitar and drums.
Improvisation Workshop and band rehearsal. 
Saturday 22nd 10.30 till 4.00.  
The jam session will be at the Bacon Arms 7.00 till 10.00
Sunday 23rd  11.00 till 3.00 including an informal concert for the last hour.

The Tutor

Simon Currie has been playing the saxophone since he was 11 years old, at the age of 20 he joined the National Youth Jazz Orchestra and played with them for 4 years, working with big names in jazz such as JOHNNY DANKWORTH and SHORTY ROGERS, to name but a few. He then worked in Monte Carlo with American musical giants such as GEORGE BENSON and STEVIE WONDER. In 2001 he joined PAUL JONES AND THE MANFREDS (ex MANFRED MANN), and has been touring with them, backing guests such as CHRIS FARLOWE, PAUL YOUNG, ALLAN PRICE, PP ARNOLD and Georgie Fame
